THE PARTNER OPPORTUNITY
Start an energy-efficiency business
with a global alliance behind you.
Electricity demand is rising while much of the power we already generate is wasted in pumps, motors and fans. PowerShift Alliance Partners build local businesses that find that waste, fix it and prove the result.
Why energy efficiency is a business opportunity now
AI and data centres, electrification, cooling and economic growth are all pushing electricity demand up. Grid constraints and affordability concerns make it more valuable to use existing power productively. For commercial facilities, every avoidable kilowatt-hour is an operating cost they would rather not pay.
Pumping systems are one of the biggest places to look. The U.S. Department of Energy, Pump Life Cycle Costs: A Guide to LCC Analysis for Pumping Systems notes that pumping systems account for nearly 20% of the world’s electrical energy demand, and 25–50% of energy use in certain industrial plant operations.
What a PowerShift Alliance Partner does
Partners work with hotels, resorts, water parks, hospitals and factories. The method has three steps:
- Understand. Assess the application and establish an energy baseline.
- Optimize. Engineer, program and commission variable-speed (VSD) control so equipment runs at what the application actually needs.
- Verify. Monitor performance and measure the results.
This is not simply selling VFDs. Partners optimize the whole operating system around the real requirement of the site.
What you get as a Partner
- Technology & engineering: EcoPulse technology, engineering methodology, programming, commissioning, monitoring and measurement.
- Tools to build your business: technical and commercial training, PSA quoting and ROI software, sales systems, case studies and marketing resources.
- People in your corner: the Partner Hub, the “Todd” AI knowledge resource, supplier relationships, technical support and project-financing development.
Who the opportunity suits
Local entrepreneurs, engineering and facilities professionals, electrical and mechanical contractors, and business owners with relationships in hospitality, leisure or industry. You bring the local ambition and relationships; the Alliance brings the infrastructure.
Some customer projects may be structured through shared savings, which can reduce the need for large upfront capital. Availability depends on the project and financing arrangements.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an engineering background to become a Partner?
Partners receive technical and commercial training plus engineering support from the Alliance. A technical, facilities, contracting or B2B sales background helps, and the right fit is discussed on an introductory call.
Which customers do Partners serve?
Commercial facilities with significant pump, motor and HVAC loads, such as hotels, resorts, water parks, hospitals and factories.
How are energy savings proven?
Partners establish a baseline before work starts, then monitor performance after commissioning so the results are measured rather than estimated.
Illustrative engineering principles, not a guarantee of results. Savings depend on each site’s systems and operation and are verified by measurement.
